A working session for founder communities

TheOne Room.

Every business has six rooms. One of them is taking the weight, and it’s almost never the one you’d guess.

Your members aren’t behind. They’re running a business built for a life they’re not living anymore.

The whole session in one line

The constraint is almost never the problem. The thing you built to work around it is.

What they walk out with

Three things, in ninety minutes.

01

The room that’s straining

Named out loud, in the room, by the person living in it.

02

Why it hasn’t moved

Almost never where they were looking. That is usually the moment it lands.

03

One move for next week

Written down before they leave, and said out loud to one other person.

How it runs

One third frame. Two thirds them working.

No deck to sit through.

01

They name the struggle in the first five minutes, before I teach anything.

02

Journal, then pairs, then the room.

03

Live diagnosis, out loud, by name, for whoever wants it.

04

Everyone writes the one move down before they leave, and says it to one other person.

From rooms Lauren has led

What it looks like from the outside.

“
Lauren is clearly operating from a depth of knowledge. Her ROAD exercise is a great way to think through and overcome the constraints in your business. If you’re feeling stuck, Lauren can help.

Jake

“
Lauren led our mastermind through a fantastic workshop. She asked questions I hadn’t considered and forced us to not just sit with our ideas, but write down our actions and next steps so we could hit the ground running. That’s the type of workshop I want to partake in.

John

“
She’s an over-the-top gifted keynote speaker who can keep a room of business owners entertained while offering practical take-home tips everyone can apply right away.

Lynn

“
It was the single most convicting, in a positive way, session. It really got me clear in a unique way. It was holistic: business, home, and community.

The full prompt set, pairs, live diagnosis, and a real close. What I’d recommend.

What you get as the host

Your room stays yours.

01

Nothing sold from the stage. Your room, your offers. I don’t pitch in someone else’s house.

02

No homework for your members. Everything happens live. They show up, that’s the ask.

03

A prompt sheet they write on and keep. Printed or digital, branded to your community if you want it.

04

The follow-up. Anyone who wants it gets a personal read on how they’re wired, applied to the exact move they named in your room.

05

A conversation first. I ask what you already cover so I’m not repeating or contradicting your own curriculum.

Not a keynote

Hey, I’m Lauren.

The anti-systems systems person

I don’t hand your room another system.

Mom of five. Former pastor. Now the founder of Profit & Presence Co. Founders call me when the business they built stopped fitting the life they’re actually in.

Most rooms are already reaching for Delegate when the answer is still Remove. That’s the ROAD Method, and it’s the whole reason ninety minutes is enough. We’re not adding anything. We’re finding the one room that’s taking the weight and naming the single move that unlocks it.

I run it the same way every time, in person or live on Zoom. Your members do the work out loud, they leave having decided something, and nothing gets sold from your stage.

Is it right for your room

Worth saying out loud.

It works when

  • Your people have been in business a few years and have something real to look at.
  • They are willing to write, talk to each other, and be diagnosed out loud.
  • Twenty to forty of them, in a room or on a call where everyone can be seen.
  • You want them to leave having decided something, not having collected something.

It does not work when

  • You need a keynote. This is a working session and it will feel like one.
  • Your members want a framework to take away and apply later. They will get a decision instead.
  • The room is much bigger than forty, because live diagnosis stops being possible.
  • The slot is under an hour. I would rather say no than do a thin version of it.

They don’t need another system. They need to know which room is holding the weight.

Tell me about your room and I’ll tell you honestly whether this is the right fit for it.
